Public Safety Alert On Iphone. Tap the toggle switch next to Emergency Alerts and Public Safety Alerts in order to disable Blue Alert messages on your phone. Scroll to the bottom of the screen where youll see the heading Government Alerts.
Update by Apple will shut off emergency alerts on iPhones. Go to Settings Notifications. Turn on your iPhone or iPad in iOS 10.

If youre using someone elses iPhone you can place an emergency call or view the owners Medical ID without unlocking the phone. The investigating law enforcement agency of jurisdiction must recommend activation of the Blue Alert to the Texas Department of Public Safety DPS.
